The Barkley Boulevard Branch Bellingham, WA For the past six years, Banner Bank has called upon Johnson Braund Design Group, Inc. to design many of their bank branches across the Western Washignton. The Bellingham branch represents the most recent example of this partnership. From the structural design, to the interior details, JBDG, Inc. worked with Banner Bank to create a comfortable environment for clients to do their banking. Sitting just seconds from Interstate-Five, this branch sits in the heart of a rapidly growing retail development.
The Barkley Boulevard branch of Banner Bank has a 3,250 square foot, fully finished basement for storage of bank and loan documents and has a total building area of 10,100 square feet. The focal point of the interior is the waiting area. The warm and welcoming space sits across the main entrance and is designed to serve both the banking and loan operations. The design of this space has plush furniture that draw customers in to relax and enjoy Banner Bank's hospitality. Elements within the waiting area are a state-of-the-art coffee service, 42” wall-mounted flat-screen television, computer terminals for customers, and brochure cubbies.
Other interior features of the bank include two large skylights with expansive vaulted ceilings that bring generous amounts of natural light into the building, a large conference room centrally located to service the entire operation, several offices located around the building perimeter, interior work stations for support staff, an elevator for easy access to basement storage, multiple work/storage rooms, safe deposit room, customer service areas and an easily accessible employee break room.
Banner Bank now operates 77 full service branches and thirteen loan offices in 27 counties in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
