Irem Alpagot Interior Design Studio

Irem was born and raised in Ankara, Turkey. That is where she studied for her first degree, Polish Language and Literature at Ankara University. She worked as a translator for a short while and in 1997 moved to Seattle, Washington. After learning English, Irem decided to return to school for Interior Design. She attended Bellevue Community College and got her Associates Degree in Interior Design in 2004. She worked as a designer in various companies before she started at JBDG in June of '06. 

Irem‘s passion is designing functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet all the clients’ needs using creative solutions. The clients’ lifestyle and their expectations are the most important considerations to Irem while designing a space. Believing in constant education and improvement of self, the designer eagerly pursues the following of new innovations and materials used in the design world and reflecting this knowledge into her designs. She is very excited about being a part of JBDG, and she is looking forward to the upcoming projects.

Outside of work Irem enjoys long walks & bike rides, painting, going to concerts and watching movies. 

Fun Fact: Irem’s favorite TV show is The Simpsons, so she named her two cats Bart and Lisa. She also has a dog named Maggie!
