Joe Giampietro Housing Director

Joe has been in planning, site design, architecture and landscape architecture for 25 years.  A 'brief' stint in real estate development (1995- 2004) broadened his understanding of clients’ way of seeing the business of real estate development.

With degrees in both Architecture and Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, Joe looks at the big picture in any project that the Housing Studio undertakes.  He began working for JBDG, Inc. in 1989 and began his architectural focus in housing, leaving to pursue housing in other ways in 1992.  He returned to in 2004 to direct the Housing Studio. 

Joseph enjoys sailing on the high seas, playing basketball (over-forty team only, please) and woodworking.

Fun Fact: Joe's sailboat is named 'Andiamo,' Italian for "let's go."
